rigo painted himself into a corner and had no other option but to move up in weight and fight loma after talking all that crap about how he'd destroy loma. loma has many options. commey berchelt davis mikey and lopez all guys he can fight between 130lbs and 135lbs.

But unifying is something else. Having all of the belts isn't meaningless.

Being unified champ is a great achievement. It also allows a fighter a lot more options. All roads lead to the unified champ.

I'll almost never argue against unifying.
Guys on here acting like being introduced as the "Undisputed Champion of the world" is meaningless and not cool as **** are just hating.

Outside of Mikey and Tank, there’s no other fights between 130-135 for Lomachencko that will interest anyone except his diehard fans. And neither is likely to happen. At least not in 2019. He and Crawford are pretty much in the same position Spence and Mikey were in, which ultimately led them to each other. And like Spence and Mikey, I’d much rather see Crawford and Lomachencko fight each other than to see them in with garbage like last night and Amir Khan. Plus, there’s no rule that says Lomachencko can’t return to lightweight and fight all of the no-hopers his fans are salivating to see him in with AFTER he did a superfight with Crawford at the end of this year.
