Comments Thread For: Lomachenko Might Be Wise To Get Used To Uninspiring Bout

By Michael Rosenthal - Vasyl Lomachenko's frustration is admirable. The man wants real challenges, not gimmies like Anthony Crolla. And he has difficulty hiding his feelings. I was at a press conference a few days before he fought Miguel Marriaga on August 5, 2017. Lomachenko had hoped to face rugged veteran Orlando Salido the only man to beat him in a rematch on that date but the fight didn't materialize, which allowed the limited Colombian to step in...

Both of Commey's losses could have gone either way. I thought he won both.

Lomachenko vs. Berchelt is not an "uninspiring" fight! Why does this narrative continue? I think it's a very good fight, especially @ 130, for Berchelt's title! Commey is also a very good fight! Commey doesn't have the following that Tank has, or Berchelt has, but he does have skills and power! Berchelt should be the target! There's a lot of talent @ 135! I think Tank will be there soon too! Haney and Ryan Garcia making noise out here! Teofimo is a beast! The only problem is Loma might not face either of them! I say he should fight Berchelt next, and then Teofimo Lopez, if Lopez can wait until, as Arum says, "Shortly after the Super Bowl."

And the Commey fight is perfectly fine as well. So no, Lomachenko will be just fine, he has some options.

Oh yeah, Lopez is right there begging for the fight and then maybe, just MAYBE, Mayweather Promotions lets Tank loose and we get that great match up.

Hes too good for his own good. Noone his size can beat him and a lot of people on this site cant come to terms with that so they make up that random prospects have him 'shook'

Mikey Garcia gervonta Davis and teofimo Lopez are all good fights for loma. He doesn’t have to get used to fighting no hopers like crolla the crumpet

I would love it if Crolla won. I know he’s set to lose but the absolute lack of respect being shown for him is unbelievable.

I’ve got a feeling he’ll be known as 50 dollar Crolla after tonight

Teofimo Lopez is a good fight that can be made within the same stable.

And even if Lopez loses it doesn't hurt his development, he will have been in against a world class fighter and learned some things at a young age.

Just like Canelo did against Floyd.
