It was done 5 years ago, by a journeyman with 14 losses.

He doesn't need to fight for belts at all. He's already a name. Why does he need to follow corrupt belt orgs (with 8 champions between them in each division), and not just find the biggest fights out there himself (both money and challenge wise)?

Why waste hundreds of thousands on sanctioning fees? I'd have advised him to skip all those BS belts. He has enough name and influence around him. Schedule his fights on Mexican holidays. His style is Mexican fan friendly!

He's already moved up two divisions. He started out at 126.

The fight vs Teofimo Lopez is one of the best matchups of the decade, and that fight will happen around the end of the year apparently if both keep winning because Teofimo can't make 135 much longer than that.

            Commey is arguably undefeated.

If Loma wants all 4 titles, he will probably have to fight Campbell in the UK, which isn't bad.

Promotional differences have little to do with Tank not fighting Loma. He and his team simply don't want the fight. Loma does and his team do.

This writer must have won his award and then got complacent because this article seems tilted in certain directions and leaves out a lot of important context in order to achieve that effect. Whether it was intentional or not, who knows.

Rigo and his fans were talking mad ****. People were accusing Loma of ducking Rigo and that he would break Lomas jaw. None of that is comparable to Loma vs Crawford situation. Loma knows his limits, respects Crawfords skill and size. Rigo was twitter warrior with an annoying fanbase that needed to be shut up.

Individual titles can be seen as somewhat meaningless. You can argue the pros and cons either way.

But unifying is something else. Having all of the belts isn't meaningless.

Being unified champ is a great achievement. It also allows a fighter a lot more options. All roads lead to the unified champ.

I'll almost never argue against unifying.

So has Crawford. Floyd won titles in five divisions. Manny won titles in eight divisions. I don’t understand folks that wanna talk about Lomachencko as if he’s an ATG. But don’t wanna hold him the the same standards ATGs have set.

According to your logic, Floyd should have fought Ronda Rousey.

That's one way to guarantee a fight with Tank! But in the meantime, I think Loma needs the fights that he can make, and that's not Tank and Mikey! I think that's Berchelt, Lopez, and Commey! He needs to talk up those fights, and ESPN needs to push that! This narrative that Loma doesn't have many options must cease!
