Yea, this fight shoulda been in the UK. But Hearn didn't want to take it to purse bid so he can't complain.
Umm, he was going to take it to a purse bid, but Arum blinked and coughed up more money to keep the fight from going to the U.K. Old Bob said so himself

According to fans, not corrupt belt orgs, if Loma is the number 1 at lightweight, Crolla is number 99. That's what the odds reflect: an utter mismatch. If the British can get excited about that, that's on them.

I'm a boxing fan, so I will most probably watch it, but wouldn't blink if I forget about it.

I see it as 70/30, mainly because of Loma's last two performances. We'll see.
You absolutely do care about region and you adjust your standards according to that.

FYI, Crolla is ranked in the top 10's. Ring has him #4, TBRB #7, your tried and trusted boxrec has him #3, ESPN has him #4 so not 99 like your personal biased agenda driven rankings. When did Tank fight someone in his own weight class as highly rated? What compelling fights is Tank trying to make? His promoter again openly admitted that are ducking a Loma fight and Loma is considered a terrible fighters so what's he trying to do? Washed up and **** to pieces Gamboa who got a total gift vs. Sosa?

You can adhere to those rankings. I don't recognize any of the belt or media rankings. 100-1 odds don't reflect someone who is number 4 of anything. That's why these orgs are corrupt.

Those aren't orgs they are media outlets. So why bring up a (fake) ranking if rankings aren't important to you? You said Crolla is ranked 99th, I said Ring, ESPN, TBRB etc; all have him top 10, mostly closer to top 5.

YOUR own rankings aren't foolproof because you've proven bias beyond belief. There has to be some reference and I think 3-4 independent media outlets not organizations are more reliable than a fanboy who's mad at a guy because he makes your favorite fighter look like a coward.

I wasn't talking about rankings there.

If you had 100 boxers, with Loma being #1, Crolla would be number 99. Only 1 person believes he can win, out of 100 people. I look at it that way. Crolla isn't good enough.

            I don't buy the 99-1 though. I give Crolla 30%.

That's the not best way to explain odds at all. If they had 100 fights Crolla would only be favoured to win one by the bookies but this still could mean it's because Lomas just too damn good not that Crollas poor.

You started a thread celebrating the ********* attack in New Zealand pinning on all white people because a fan or two you perceive to be white said something mean about Wilder and Floyd. How often do you ********** over each? Be honest. If the answer is 0 you are lying.

That's how poor the division is.

I don't look at these odds as Loma being "too damn good." I look at lightweight as a dead division, with only Loma being the best. It's the same with almost all divisions in boxing. One top guy and a lot of prospects and pretenders.
