No reason for a purse bid when Loma gets 75% of the bidded amount. Smart play in every sense is to allow TR to fund the whole thing.

He's being strong armed by ESPN. He has no leverage. If HBO had given Bob an 11pm start time on a Friday on the app for one of his biggest fighters, Arum woulda blown a gasket. With ESPN he has to sit there and take it

Californians know their boxing .. lamochenko ( not American). Crolla( British world champion) .... that's whys it's not sold at the gate, arum doesent care he's probably covered by Espn and left Hearn to cover the balance of crollas purse ..

This is pretty much exactly what I was going to post, even down to using Canelo v fielding as an example. So much of a mismatch it could be uncomfortable to watch.
Sure it would sell better in the U.K. but we scarcely get the opportunity to watch elite boxers fight live and seeing a pound for pounder like Loma would be a draw in itself over here.

Americans are **** fans. They couldn't even sell out an arena for Wilder-Fury.

Eddie's right he knows the Brit's are gullible and would pay top dollar to watch a fighter 1/100 on .He would give them the 'opportunity' to pay for first up on his fight pass tickets and then when it's sold he would let them have tickets through stubhub at inflated prices .The Americans have spotted Eddie a mile away and so have I .Some are not so lucky and pay through the nose to get pissed and sing 'sweet Caroline'...!

Hearns starting to realize he’s a guppy over here in an ocean and not the shark in a pond in the UK!
