Mikey Garcia is still the WBC champ at 135. If he ends up vacating I will take this as a sign that he doesn't' want to fight Lomachenko. Let's see what happens.

If the best version of Mikey was at 140, then he wouldn't have been so incredibly bad at 147.
A guy as good as he is can go up one division from their best weight and not be terrible. But he was - absolutely - god awful. So you know that 140 isn't his best weight. It can't be.
His best is at 135, and he can do it easily enough. Loma's best is 130. Meeting at 135 is the only sensible option.
I mean, I know that people who want Loma to lose will be pushing for it to be at 140. But it makes zero sense.Comment

I'd agree.
But I wouldn't say it is because he is scared to fight Loma.
I'd say it is to do with him refusing to deal with Arum at all. Which is a shame, but I'm not gonna blame him for it either. Arum is a scumbag, and Mikey seems like a good guy.
The fight is Mikey's to make though. It is all his choice. If it doesn't happen, it will be his choice. Arum's fault maybe, but Mikey's choice.Comment

LOL! The l0m0 TARDS and GGGTards already bring up losing to Floyd???
They think Salido = Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Here is the fighter ranked at No. 1:
1. Floyd Mayweather
Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez Al Bello/Getty Images
Record: 49-0, 26 KOs | Years active: 1996-2015
Weight classes: Junior lightweight, lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight, junior middleweight
Titles: 11
Top 3 signature wins: Diego Corrales, TKO10, 2001; Oscar De La Hoya, SD12, 2007; Manny Pacquiao, UD12, 2015
Stats & Info: Mayweather has five of the top six largest gates in Nevada boxing history, including $72 million for his fight against Manny Pacquiao.
ESPN's take: When Floyd Mayweather retired following a one-sided decision win against Andre Berto to retain his unified welterweight title in September, he walked away with a perfect record of 49-0 and a legacy of greatness in the ring. Perhaps he will make a comeback eventually -- he has retired and returned before - but even if he never does, Mayweather will go down as one of the best boxers in history. In his era, he had no peer defensively and is perhaps the greatest defensive fighter in history. But he also beat a who's who of his era and usually did so with ease. His sublime skill and polarizing personality made him the face of boxing and the highest paid athlete in the world as "Money" broke every boxing box office record with one mega fight after another. Mayweather, who was also an elite amateur and 1996 Olympic bronze medalist (after getting robbed by the judges), spent many years entrenched as the pound-for-pound king. When he easily outpointed Manny Pacquiao in May in their long-awaited and record-shattering superfight, Mayweather not only cemented his position as the No. 1 fighter in the world but stamped himself as king of the era. -- Dan RafaelComment

Mikey's next move will show his intentions. If he vacates then it's clear he doesn't want to fight and I can't blame him. A second loss would bury him especially vs. a smaller guy. If he keeps his title then it's a sign he's working towards making the fight happen since Loma has made it clear he's winning all the belts.
Let's see what happens.Comment
