Holy cow Wlad may be coming back! Where does he rank?

    How well will he do?

Does he really have anything to lose in a come back?

Especially if he fights Tyson Fury?

He imo goes straight back to the top in the mix with the top 4 and frankly not number 4, even at 43 and rusty.

I hope he build his neck like Evander Holyfields, with both heavy weights and moderate weights to maximize hypertrophy size and support for his "chin", he has a long neck, not so great chin and he never rectified it like Tyson or Holyfeld did, and its oh so fixable (or at least help able) it boggles my mind why all boxers dont have thick necks because anyone can build a thick neck its easy.

If he has a stronger chin, better focus, better head movement, and really gets stuck in taking more risk vs Tyson Fury he could make a successful comeback.

On the other hand it could just be a cash grab. But he doesn't strike me as a money guy he strikes me as a man of legacy primarily?

    What do you guys think?

Fury is a monster of effectiveness, but its super close at the top I think the best of this era is just gonna be who gets lucky, because its so close at the top, its just going to be a random selection almost

I agree Fury has the best chance of the lot and is prob the best I think he should fight Joshua then retire if he wins because its too close to take risks.

He could quite easily have lost to Deontay and then if Deontay never fought him again then his legacy is down the crapper almost , thats whats at stake here.

The winner of this era is the guy that plays it smart when it comes to match making imo

You also have to beat all the other top men all 3/4 of them otherwise u dont ensure your alpha status, there will always be doubts

Fury has beaten everyone bar Joshua he is the closest to doing this, and becoming undisputed

Deontay has to rematch Fury, fight Josua and win both

Joshua has to beat Fury and Deontay

*sigh* we should make a sub-forum called "Non-Stop Phaggotry" so you can create threads there and reply to yourself all day.

There is no way to know of course. As an old guy myself though, I suspect reality is going to come as a bit of a bitter pill to Wlad. My thinking is that even the guys who could have literally not laid a glove on Wlad 10 years ago are a serious threat now. He may not even be top 10.

I think Vlad will be worst than before retiring
Older , slower , meaning more holding and leaning , all this for less boxing
Towards the end of his career , he was horribly boring and very predictable
His brother made it quite clear , this will be a major money grab
I wouldn’t mind seeing new blood in the heavyweight division but that’s just it : new blood
