Haha. Yeah, I had YT going and it popped up. Never that the WBO president reacted like that. Classic moment!
Saw this video like 6/7 months ago if I remember correctly, just shook my head. You can see the corruption there. The issue for me is the fact that I see America as the Mecca of boxing, a place where foreign boxers can go and get a fair shake, how is Pirog meant to do that? When the President is the organisation he was fighting under seems upset! And the scorecards as well were in favour of Jacobs.

I always thought the elder Sulaiman was a blatant nationalistic ********** when he ran the WBC. He didn't even try to hide it.
It would be cool if they were all audited by a third party to prevent this bs.
To be fair, if this was supposed to be fixed, somebody should have gotten that memo to Byrd. Byrd could have let the fight continue after giving Jacobs a little extra recovery time while checking him out. The fight was close to that point, Jacobs could have conceivably been ahead on the cards.
This was a very good video, until the creator went off on an elitist tangent about how he knew Rungvisai was great all along, and everyone else is a sheep for not knowing this obscure Asian fighter. I've just looked into his social media posts on Rungvisai and all he says is that he isn't as bad as people make out. Didn't predict a hard fight for Gonzales, just said the fight wasn't a cherry pick. What an airhead.

Yeah, his reaction pretty much told the story. Pirog was not supposed to win this. Haha. I'm glad the camera caught that shot, though. Very cool. It's too bad Pirog hurt his back. I think he could have went pretty far.
