I wonder how many years Canelo has left. He maybe young, but he's not Errol Spence young. He had taken a lot of punishment over the years especially with the Golovkin fiasco.

It’s incredible that he’s still only 28, soo many big nights and potentially many more to come. Remains to be seen if he already has peaked or he’s one of those rare continuously improving boxers like say a Bernard Hopkins. If he is, he will probably finish his career as one of the best middleweights of all time and given the quality of that division that’s high praise. I’d like to see him face BJS, even more so than GGG again tbh.

I say this and I’m not really a fan of the man I see in public, that said maybe he’s decent kid in his own space. The PED thing was a bit of shame, it’s another thing I wonder about long term in terms of performance (if he’s off them), but if you compare him to all the great middleweights in the 70s, 80s and 90s, they were all very likely jacked anyway and more blatantly in some cases so, it levels the hall of fame bar.

One always said he developed a ton with each fight but it seems like he hitting a ceiling now. We'll see.
