    it all helps

also what proof do you have that it was mostly mikey fans buying the ppv other than a guess because you think only mexicans can sell ppvs? lemme guess it was all tyson fury fans that bought wilder/fury too?!?! LOL

if even 100k of those people that saw that interview stop and google wilder its a win for him....and thats a very low percentage of those who tuned in
I think all of that is good exposure and will help. But I think if either Spence or Wilder was going to be a big star, then by this point they would have much more traction by now.

I brought up Spence because quite a few people on here were saying that the Mikey fight made him a PPV guy, like him and Porter would be PPV. I don't know if that fight would do 30k on PPV.

Like I said all of that exposure is good and that is an impressive number for Wilder, but I think anyone saying Wilder or Spence is on track to be a PPV guy, I mean I don't see it.

The cost of buying a PPV vs pirating it online is just killing a lot of guys' chances of becoming a big PPV guy. These streaming services could really help all these guys make money. Wilder passing on that offer from DAZN, if he is thinking he will be a PPV guy, I think that is a very risky and foolish tract/path to take. He's 33 he doesn't have much time left to make his money.

I think the main PPV buyers now are bars/restaurants, those are the places that really take the numbers high. Besides Joshua I don't see who Wilder can possibly fight to really make big money, and that is because Joshua is the number 1 or 2 star in the sport.

The only black PPV boxing star was Floyd and he made it because 90% of the people were tuning in to see him lose. These guys thinking they are going to follow Floyd's path and make even close to his money are off if they are trying to go PPV. I think they are going to cost themselves a lot of money compared to what somewhere like DAZN is offering.

Are you insinuating that Spence showing up at a Cowboys game is going to help make him into PPV star btw? I mean all the people that tuned in to his last fight were Mikey fans. Anyone thinking Spence is ready to be a PPV or is even close I mean I don't see that at all.
What are you guys rationalization that everybody that bought the ppv was Mikey fans when he never fought on ppv before to even suggest he has a built in fan base like canelo for instance?

So do you think Spence is about to be a PPV star...would you think him and Porter on PPV is a good idea?

That's good for Wilder to get that kind of exposure. It's good for him to get in the spotlight for the right reasons. If he keeps winning he can be a household name. Keep delivering those knockouts champ.

Lmao this is such clickbait. Wilder has nothing to do with NCAA and nobody knew who the hell they were interviewing. When PBC put on a card last year which came on immediately after the Olympics - THAT was good since most people didn't bother changing the channel - that got great ratings and generated exposure. This? Was a joke.

just like nobody on thanksgiving last year tuned in to see spence on the sidelines at the cowboys game...BUT THEY ENDED UP SEEING HIM ANYWAY.....and that gets things in motion

if even just 100k of those viewers were sitting there, ipad in hand(possibly about to make a wager ), and googled wilder because they didnt know him and looked him up? thats a win for wilder and his people

basically everyone watching that event has a phone or tablet in hand...and can google who he is if they dont already know him...within seconds

this is just reality...so you haters can stay mad and say dumb stuff like "nobody tuned in to see him"...thats just fools way of rationalizing it.....its exposure...good exposure........it was either that or have 5k people see him in the US ON DAZN during a cricket match
Well said....If Joshuas model of exposure paid off why cant Wilders? The only difference was Joshuas team had a brilliant commercial plan built in from the get go, while Wilders team seemed to only focus on building a resume'.

Wilder is no doubt exciting in the ring, he's a skinny breakable looking determined kid whose appearance belies everthing he's accomplished in the ring. ANYONE who claims to be a fan of heavyweight boxing that doesnt want to see him fight is suffering from emotional trauma from his desire to now pave his own road to the castle...lol

He aint the most endearing of heavyweights personality wise, but he is the most fearless with a windmill style that WORKS!..lol...which is something that caught Team-Joshua off guard keeping them apprehensive. The exposure is bound to work, heck even Mike Tysons personal life playing out for all to see made fans of the sport wanna see him fight....

What's the point of exposing him when all they can find out about him is his only meaningful win is a nobody like Luis Ortiz after 40 fights.
They might even puke when they find out he ducked Klitschko as if Wlad was still in his prime.
They'll puke non-stop when they find out about how greedy he is.
Turned down multiple title shots plus 10x his average purses.
They'll probably thinking, "I don't need to listen to this clown. Hope he loses to a fellow clown."

Is there one picture of this ass clown that doesn't have his big fuggin mouth wide open?

So we use a BBall tournament to offer exposure of the worst boxer in US history? LMAOOOOOO. Another reason I can't stand that a hole. Gets boxing welfare fighting nobodies FOREVER and now riding on the coattails of BBall to get exposure. Sick.
