Is Lou DiBella no longer a part of team Wilder?

For the first time in a long time DiBella isn't listed as the promoter for one of Wilder's fights. He also wasn't at the press conference for Wilder-Breazeale. Did something happen?

Pure speculation but I imagine Haymon wasn't impressed with the whole DAZN episode.

Good point. Wasn't DiBella the one who set up the whole DAZN meeting for Wilder?

Deontay was never signed under a long term contract with lou, he works as a free agent on fight to fight basis i believe, haymon just used lou as promoter so haymon doesnt get in trouble according to the muhammad ali act where a manager canot act as a promoter or some ****.

This is something shelly finkel is known for, he doesnt like his fighters signing long term contracts with promoters, when he had manny pacquiao he strongly advised manny not to sign a long term deal with gary shaw or any promoter but pacman ended up firing finkel and signing long term with bob arum.

Yep. He kinda has (or had) a foot in both camps because he does a fair amount of business with Hearn.

What is interesting is that none of the upcoming PBC shows are being promoted by Dibella. Maybe he and Haymon had a falling out or something cause DiBella isn't being used as one of Al's promoters like he used to be.

I just thought it was interesting because Lou has been listed as the promoter for Wilder's past 8 fights but not this next one. Obviously he doesn't have a promotional contract with DiBella.

According to Hearn, Lou wanted Wilder to sign the Dazn offer.
