Great if you really are a Lopez fan, never seen you on his threads. I would dig and see how much of a fan you really are later.

You already insinuate that they would “Wait out” for Lopez to get too big for that weight...so yeah I can’t take you too seriously.

Walters was exposed as a pretender, evidenced by the way he abruptly retired early after the Loma embarrassment. Seems like the Loma fight was just a cash grad before retirement which, at least to me, shows he wasn’t very serious about his career.

Rigo made way to many concessions to land the fight, and it backfired.

Russel was a legitimate, formidable adversary who dropped Loma with left hook the the latter rounds but still lost a good fight.

Rigo was so tiny even Loma acknowledged it in disgust postfight. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Linares at his highest was a C level fighter who was KOed badly a few times by pedestrians.

Walters was the definition of a coward, a one hit wonder. It was against Nonito Donaire.

Loma was impressive in beating Russell in a close fight only in his 3rd pro fight. It was the highlight of his career. That was sooooo long ago.

Don't mention amateur BS, stick to pro boxing in your reply.
Yeah, let's conveniently pretend like amateur career has never affected someone's professional status in any way or shape. Let's pretend like Lomachenko wasn't a hyped professional from his all-time great amateur record. Or better yet, let's pretend like Sugar Ray Leonard had no hype created from his amateur career. That's not BS. You conveniently acting like that has no barring is hilarious.

Lomachenko demanded that professional title shot by his second fight. He found a promoter who was willing, and able, to make it happen. That's why he signed with Top Rank. What's the problem there?

          But anyways...

Salido wasn't a top-level, elite P4P and was getting paid what was a lot in his career to fight Lomachenko, by Top Rank. What does Lopez offer Lomachenko? Pay? Glory? The answer is probably, neither, at least, not at this point in time.

At the end of the day, it's Lomachenko's choice on whether or not to fight Lopez. Him not fighting him now means nothing. You're trying too hard, but your logic is really poor here. Again:

What does Lomachenko get from beating a young 21 year old with no top 10 wins, no belts, and not even a mandatory? You and I, as well as most boxer pundits know the same haters will say: "who did Lopez beat?"--- and they're right.

          It does nothing for him.

P.S. You're also the same dude claiming Nicholas Walters is not a good win, despite him being a top fighter at 126, him being horribly robbed against Sosa (in a fight he lost maybe one round), and despite people thinking of putting him into the P4P top 10 a few years back. Walter's had a good rep before the Sosa robbery/Lomachenko fight.

See the difference? A proven world champion, never looked bad in any fight and always dominated his competition--- yet you don't give Lomachenko credit for that.

          Funny how that works.

Ray is one of the posters I respect the most on here. I don't know what triggered him. I even said several times I want Davis-Lopez as well.
You know i'm a fan of Tank and Lopez (BULLIES), but if they fought at the Barclay's tomorrow, you already know! I'm a fan of Charlo and Jacobs, but if they fought @ MSG, you already know! I'm a fan of Wilder, but if he fought "Big Baby" at the Barcaly's, you already know! He was reaching way out there! Not a good look! Tank vs. Lopez would be ridiculous! NYC would be on fire! I don't see it happening, unless it happens in the future @ 140!

What I want in 2020, is Tank Davis vs. Devin Haney, and Teofimo Lopez vs. Regis Prograis! Watch out for a kid named Subriel Matias! YouTube him! Another BULLY!

He's like a young Tyson! His defense is much better than Saucedo, Beltran, and Ramirez! Definitely better than Munguia, and he's a champ already! Hopefully Tatis will make him have to show us more, but I just don't see a real test unless it's Commey or Loma at 135! I think he blows through TR's stable @ 140!
i dunno man 140 is a tough division. Prograis, Taylor, Baranchyk could give him problems.

I'm not insinuating anything! The boy can't hold 135 much longer! Father/Trainer has been saying this since 2018! If Loma insists that he have a title first, and he's fighting Commey after Crolla, the fight won't happen! That's just math! Please go back and check!

I've been calling for this fight before Keith Idec, and he writes for BScene! I've been on this since he decapitated Masoin Menard! Like I told you, you're one of the few Loma fans that actually want to see this fight happen! Commey wants a tune-up! The window of opportunity is open, but it won't stay open for long! If Loma decides to pursue Berchelt, I have no complaints! Other than him, it should be Teofimo, that is if he takes a fight before Commey! By the way, SALUTE to Richard Commey for hiring Andre Rozier! Brooklyn, I see y'all!

I'm pretty certain that those weren't his promoters words. To me, if you don't like people calling other fighters "ducks" or proclaiming that a certain fighter doesn't want to fight, that principle should apply across the board, not just when you personally feel its "justified".

I understand Loma wanting "legacy" fights or simply wanting to unify. I also understand people who say Loma Lopez is better than Loma Crolla and Loma Commey put together. This is no different from when Erroll Spence was calling out Thurman and Porter before he won a belt. They told Errol to go build himself up but now that he has, still no fight. So pardon any fan who says, "hey I don't care about Loma unifying versus a guy I don't rate. I wanna see an exciting fight between Loma and Lopez and since Lopez is asking for it, Loma has the power to give it to us.". That has nothing to do with Davis.

the only thing I see coming is never-ending flow of disrespect and ignorance in his words. that is all I see from Lopez and his father. Show us anything heavier than words. for God sake, he will fight his first 12 rounds fight. Is he capable to go the distance is he capable to survive 12th round like Salido-papa did? I am not expert, but I don't see him mentally ready to hit the air for 12 rounds. No mas after 8-9 rounds.

Most definitely, but none of those people are signed to TR. Prograis just fought on ESPN to get Ramirez, and he didn't get that! That's a whole different story! Arum will have Lopez make a bee-line straight to Ramirez, especially if he can't get him a title shot @ 135! Maybe Beltran first?
