        there was definintely a time when danny garcia was one of the top 20 fighters on the planet. several publications / writers had him in the top 10 p4p. right after he beat lucas matthysse on the floyd - canelo undercard. matthysse had just destroyed lamont peterson in three rounds. a year before that garcia knocked out amir khan.

                I never considered Danny P4P. Even when he was unbeaten unified champion and had just defeated Matthysse. He was just a good B-Level fighter with a solid resume. Herrera and Peterson proved he wasn't anything special. P4P is not just about resume. I had the same opinion about Abner Mares. Top 20 maybe, but never Top 10.
