He’s gonna be a new Joseph Parker. He’ll outpount people like Hughie Fury and lose to Anthony Joshua and real rumblers like Dillian Whyte. Remember I told you!

Gassiev lives & dies on his power a lot more than Usyk. Not that I expect him to do that as much at HW or that he doesn't got skills beyond power, but power at HW is game changer power & idk if he's got the versatility of Usyk to give HW's as many problems in other ways. Still think he can be a top 10 guy potentially & I'd never suggest he couldn't be a title holder at some point, but if Gassiev & Usyk were both investments I'd put a lot less into Gassiev as these two both move into the dancing bear division.
Typically he's a good fighter though. I mean, he really disappointed against Usyk but before that I thought he would set up his power punches real well. Take into account how thin Heavyweight is and he should do fine.

Agree & he is a good fighter no question at all.

Like I said I think he's a top ten guy at HW. And I know plenty of mfers think the 7th best guy in any division sucks here, but I think most of us realize being the 7th best guy in a division is pretty f#cking good so saying Gassiev can be in the top ten is by no means me trying to insult him & I do think he could even capture a belt.

Gassiev v Dorticos was one of my favourite fights from the last few years, great KO to finish too.

Really thought he’d cause Usyk some trouble in the final, but Usyk was on another level that night.

Wish him all the best at heavyweight, he should be in some fun fights, but suspect he’ll fall short of the elite.

I agree he does not have style to fight at heavy.People comparing his weight to Wilder but he don't have height or reach and don't punch like Wilder. He hits very hard and if matched right can get some wins but he cant beat the top guys and like you pointed out could very well be #1 at cruiser for awhile.I can understand though because a heavy fringe contender can make more then a undisputed cruiser. For me I would like to see him fight at his best and at best weight.

That's not smart, Golovkin can take his time but Gassiev is young and wasting his prime.

It doesnt really matter, Golovkin has his date, 8th June. Its just up to Hearn to deliver a fight for that date, hes said he has 4 or 5 slots on the card. Suspect when Golovkin announces his fight Hearn will follow it with a Gassiev signing announcement. Hes not going to be fighting much of a threat, moving up and out for so long.

GGG card maybe, but Vlasov moving down to 175 is the most interesting thing here to me after he basically skipped that weight class to go to 200 and had a lot of success there. Very curious to see how he looks at LHW

He’s tall enough but that reach could be a disadvantage. But again he likes to fight up close anyway.
