Comments Thread For: Khan Confident: Whatever Crawford Brings, I'll Have The Answer

Amir Khan is confident he will overcome the long odds in his upcoming bout against WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford. Khan challenges Crawford for his world title on April 20th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. "It will be amazing to be the new welterweight world champion and to be a world champion for a third time," Khan told BT Sport. "And to be one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world, you can't get better than that. I know I'm within touching distance and I just need to go in there on April 20 and put on a great performance."

Khan will look good early and probably win a few rounds but I see Crawford taking over at the mid point and either stopping Khan or winning a decision with a few knockdowns.

Reality will make Khan cautious and Bud will have to pick him apart. He might go late if Tarance works him hard enough.

Khan says this now but after he gets whooped, he'll have some lame excuse as to why. When Prescott ko'd him, he said he was killing himself to make 135. When Garcia ko'd him, he said it was a lucky punch and blamed roach for not teaching him defense. Vs Canelo, he said Canelo weighed 238 pounds on fight night. Wonder what's next.
