  • Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte: I'm Way More Dangerous For Joshua Than Miller

Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte is still pretty steamed with the outcome of his negotiations for a rematch with IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO orld champion Anthony Joshua. The two sides were in talks for a planned rematch, that was targeted for April 13 at Wembley Stadium in London. They initially met back in December 2015, with Whyte stunning Joshua early, but then saw himself get knocked out.

Whyte was offered a rematch even with no belt , guys need to stop being cry babies and running away from what is big pay days...not a huge chunk of change winning 4 belts as well ? Sure you think you can beat Joshua just like everyone else right ?

I really don't get whyte sometimes. You had the opportunity to fight for three belts in april. But you wanted to bet on yourself, now your next fight wouldn't be a title fight and you would probably get paid less. His Team miscalculate this whole thing, they put too much faith in the WBC and now he has been fucked again by them.

Whyte over priced himself and lost the opportunity.

            He should join the queue.

I do like Whyte but I don’t really rate him as a boxer. He has the worst balance and always looks like every time he throws a punch that he himself has been hit by a haymaker .

I know boxers must have egos but Joshua knocked his lights out. At the very least you pipe down when mentioning him.

I actually believe big baby beats him too. Dillian had a slugfest with Derek Chisora for god sake. Best thing Joshua did by Ducking Whyte to fight Miller. 30,000 would have turned up at Wembley to watch that fight. A foregone boring conclusion.

Dillian go and fight Ortiz, Kowanacki and gain more fan’s stateside. Stay away from Usyk and Joyce

This is a tough one for me. I really like Joshua and imo he starts as favourite against anybody he fights.

On the other hand Whyte is right: He is THE most dangerous opponent for Joshua. More so than Wilder, who is absolutely hypes AF, has a loss already, and has no resume. Whyte has done more than Breazeale to deserve a shot but the Americans want that WBC belt to stay stateside which is why we have not yet seen Wilder fight Whyte or AJ. He took the Fury fight as he thought it was an easy W. Sadly he will be avoided by the belt holders for as long as possible. He can box, has a chin, can **** and has good stamina. If he is patient though, it could well unfold like this:

                - WBC grows a set of balls and mandates Whyte Vs Wilder or Breazeale.

                - Whyte wins easily against either and now has the belt Joshua desperately has been trying to get Wilder to fight for.

                - Whyte would be in a massively better position at the negotiating table, and gets the payday he wants and a chance to unify.

I wouldn't put it past him, he is the best of the rest, after Joshua.

He shot himself in the foot, his next fight will be for chump change if not a world title fight.

Unless he signs to fight Tyson Fury or Wilder he happens to be the worst managed heavyweight ever dumb move.
