Whyte may very well be more dangerous for Joshua than Miller, but Joshua has already dealt with him and the result was pretty damn conclusive. New challenges have got to come before retreading old ground.

On the other hand Whyte is right: He is THE most dangerous opponent for Joshua. More so than Wilder, who is absolutely hypes AF, has a loss already, and has no resume. Whyte has done more than Breazeale to deserve a shot but the Americans want that WBC belt to stay stateside which is why we have not yet seen Wilder fight Whyte or AJ. He took the Fury fight as he thought it was an easy W. Sadly he will be avoided by the belt holders for as long as possible. He can box, has a chin, can **** and has good stamina. If he is patient though, it could well unfold like this:
- WBC grows a set of balls and mandates Whyte Vs Wilder or Breazeale.
- Whyte wins easily against either and now has the belt Joshua desperately has been trying to get Wilder to fight for.
- Whyte would be in a massively better position at the negotiating table, and gets the payday he wants and a chance to unify.
I wouldn't put it past him, he is the best of the rest, after Joshua.
Basically Whyte knows he's not ready so he's betting on himself like Wilder , the difference is Whyte is in less danger of losing, I really don't think people understand that there's a 6'7 puncher going on there to take Wilder s head off.
Is Whyte better then the rest ? I put him style wise a top 3, but I know who Is Joshuas biggest threat and it's not Whyte nor is it Fury or Wilder . It's a guy with These initials...JJJ .
These guys really have to stop running though , I've never seen so many fighters use another fighters money as an excuse to avoid him. Not even Miller wanted the fight , it took almost 7 million to get him in the ring and that's only bc DAZN is financing it in the states to showcase Joshua at MSG.Last edited by juggernaut666; 04-05-2019, 06:40 AM.

Whyte you lost to AJ before by KO. You can't expect to go in negotiations expecting TOP dollar. I understand not wanting to be low balled but you had a chance to get the fight. Tyson Fury hasn't lost to AJ and he's undefeated and Lineal Champ (or was Lineal Champ... whatever lol) and it would bring in more money. That's the difference lol
Just move on dude, if you keep winning you'll get the rematch anyways and there's a possibility you could be next in line.

Whyte is doing what's best for Whyte and his family - negotiating his financial future. All of you commentators would do exactly the same if you were in his shoes and had some business sense. This is not the Olympics for crying out loud. Yes, I also want to see the fight, but unlike you I actually understand that this is business as well as it is a sport. Big Baby said in a radio interview he is paid $8m for AJ fight. Whyte's profile is level above Big Baby, of course he would want to leverage it.
Yes, he says he can beat AJ. What boxer wouldn't say the same? But he is not an idiot and he knows (even if publicly he might not voice it) that this is a risky fight, which he can lose, in which case he loses a lot. Why not negotiate a golden parachute while you've got the chance? I like AJ and I think he will beat Whyte although in a much more competitive fight this time, but he seems to be a bit stingy when it comes to $$ he offers Whyte. And let's be honest: AJ vs Whyte would sell out Wembley and AJ would probably earn around $30m when Whyte would make almost 7 times less? C'mon.
