Despite everything, I think I'm leaning Verdejo by close decision. Vasquez is tough, but I believe Verdejo is still not an easy guy to out box and Vasquez certainly isn't coming to go to war, which is the easiest way to beat Verdejo imo. Think the matchup isn't terrible for him stylistically, still expect some lapses from him enabling Vasquez to win some rounds, but I think he'll do enough over the distance to eek it out. I also think that Verdejo is a tougher style for Vasquez than Beltran, who is a bit of a mummy that stood in front of Vasquez without jabbing at all and allowed Vasquez to box circles around him. Verdejo won't do that at least and he'll have a huge height and reach advantage. Really everything is set up for Veredjo to win this fight, the question simply lies with his focus, his heart and his guts.

Verdejo will beat Ryan 10 out of 10. Yall picking Ryan because Verdejo lost 1 fight(injurys, lay off and surgery), Verdejo is the more skillful talented boxer of both of them, hell Verdejo is problably faster and stronger. Verdejo by KO.

Verdejo beats Ryan all day.... "Verdejo" Olympic caliber fight > "Ryan" a social media build up character.

i must admit GB is doing a great job marketing the kid. However boxing is not about followers its about skills and Ryan is still green.

While I agree with some stuff you're saying, but verdejo had looked like **** like 1 or 2 fights even before his motorcycle injury.
