Yep, Lozada did what tough Mexican journeymen do and got the upset against Verdejo but Ryan was also exposed by Morales. I don't think Verdejo will ever live up to his potential but Garcia has yet to beat a true lightweight of Verdejo's caliber. Ryan Garcia will achieve way more than Verdejo ever will but I still pick him to lose that fight right now.

Right now Verdejo would win. Garcia needs more time but he can be a champion one day.

I think the Verdejo fight was the only time I ever saw Antonio Lozada. That guy looked pretty big.

Who are you picking in the Verdejo/Vasquez fight?

Going the distance with Morales (who also is better then Lozado) who has never been stopped (unlike Lozado) is not the same as getting abused all fight and then knocked the phuk out. Lozado went half decade fighting nothing but dudes with double digits losses before fighting Verdejo.

That's a coin toss for me. Vasquez almost sent Beltran back to Mexico. If Verdejo can put it all together and not lose focus for all 12 he can do it but I'm not so confident in picking him.

Verdejo look like shyt multiple fights even before that. And Lozado isn't good period. After beating Verdejo he couldn't even beat Suarez a career super featherweight a bum who has lost 5 of his last 6 fights only fight he didn't lose? Was against Lozado. lol Hector Tanajara embarrassed Suarez and he's a prospect. You should never lose to a guy like Lozado. This is the problem people been making excuses for Verdejo his entire career he's a train wreck.

Garcia wins by KO because he is better in every way and trains harder and tries harder to win.

Cool opinion. I'm not saying Verdejo is good, I'm not. He's one of those guys things just won't come together for. I want to see Garcia fight real lightweights before I jump on the bandwagon. Hell, let's see him fight Lozada even.
