Who do YOU consider Light Heavyweight Champion?

Hopkins. If i remember correctly Tarver was the ring champ and Bernard dominated him.

Hopkins is retired, so I'd say it's up in the air until some sort of unification happens.

It's a matter of opinion because it's one of those situations where the champion is leaving to have the other 4 titles splintered.

I never bought into Daruis Michaelwouldntleavegermany's status as liniar champion, and think that trying to say it was transfered from Julio Gonzalez to Erdei does't fly in today's day and age of mixed up divisions.

Erdei is a fine fighter, but I wouldn't call him 'the' champion until he unifies some titles.

Same goes with anyone else currently holding a strap at 175.

If I had to guess, I think Chad Dawson may be the man to make some noise and grab some of those titles. I think his last fight with Harding was a real learning experience and that he's only going to get better.

See that's some logic I can accept and appreciate. I also couldn't buy into Erdei being The Man right now. I agree fully, with Hopkins gone and Tarver a broken man, the Light Heavyweight division is up for grabs.

Agree with your whole post Bozo.. i think at the moment, for a guy coming up, Dawson has a great opportunity to get his name out there to people. He's got the talent.

erdei is crap....well not crap but NOT champion material........he fights bums and he was gifted two decisions against garay..i've watched all of his fights since his only good fight against gonzalez.....
