Same thing I was thinking man..
Ryan's defense and footwork has definitely gotten better under Eddie Reynoso.
      Hope he keeps improving!

            I agree with you Man!
IDK why Golden Boy promotions aren't pushing Vergil Ortiz more??
That kid has skills and power!
I like both Ortiz and Garcia but I think Ortiz will end up being the better boxer and having the better career in the Long run....
I also think Ortiz and Lopez will be a super fight a few years down the road.....

On a side note wtf is up with Hopkins? He sucks as a analyst now. Like his mind is gone. He's like "Garcia's 19" when dude just said he was 20. Then he said "I have it 1 round a piece" when the fight was only in the beginning of the 2nd round. Then he said Lopez got knocked down 3 times when he had only been down once. WTF??????
Yeah, I caught the "one round apiece" bit 12 seconds into R2 as well and cracked up hard.

This card was so predictable by the looks of it. Of course there were no upsets. This was just a showcase. What a joke and people's waste of time and money. They wouldn't even know the meaning of a good fight if it him them in the head

It might be because of appeal. Ryan has the looks and over a million Instagram followers which I don't know how many more times they're gonna keep mentioning it in every fight they promote of his. Ortiz should get more attention for sure. Each fight he continues to show more improvement in defense, footwork, head movement, all thanks to Robert Garcia who happened to turn down on training Ryan before the Reynosos were asked

His defense is night and day since he got with Reynoso. Each of his last 2 opponents landed only something like 10-15 punches total each fight. Hes looking exceptional under Reynoso. This kid already had great pedigree you don't win 15 national titles and over 200 wins in amateurs if you are a bum. But he was training with his dad and was stagnant his last 2 fights before they made the move. Now he's with a world class trainer maybe the hottest trainer right now in Reynoso. Ryan still ridiculous young he will only keep getting better under Reynoso.
