Nacho and Marquez have always been bitter towards Canelo. Just like Lennox Lewis towards Joshua.

Him and Marquez certainly have some animus towards Canelo. I think it boils down to Marquez having to work so hard his whole career and getting overlooked until he finally beat Pacquiao and then got the credit he always deserved. Whereas they probably feel Canelo was given things too early and didn't have to work for them.

Beristain just hating against the Reynoso fam or no different than Roach's opinions at times, but in reality when you're in your 80's its very very common for the hate to grow. Hence grumpy old men. perhaps you should read the back and forth between me and the other poster if you want to insert yourself into the conversation. He was stating reasons why people dislike Canelo which he included reasons such as good looks and money. I was explaining that more fans dislike him for reasons such as favorable treatment /scoring, ped use, and his avoidance of ggg during the period he was fighting khan, Smith and Chavez Jr instead. I didn't question Canelos popularity or the size of his fan base. Of course he has a fan base. How else would anyone explain a garbage fight that everyone should've known would suck such like Canelo VS Chavez Jr generating 1 million buys.

what i mean is the majority that dislike him will always hate on him no matter what, those who like him stick with him, even media in mexico changed their tune and praise him more despite the clen incident which in mexico was never really a big deal..

Each of those fights had at least 1 ridiculous scorecard. That's not even something that can be debated. Continued Favorable treatment, ped use and belt dropping to avoid a mandatory fight that everyone in boxing wanted to see is what has turned people off to Canelo.
