again...youre wrong and make no sense...i never said he was following the same plan....i said they are displaying a similar attitude in the aj/wilder negotiations as floyd did with pac.......i didnt say he was following floyds blueprint to becoming a star...i said hes displaying similar behavior in the way floyd went about the pac fight......arum was being a **** and fooling around with floyd...the same way hearn was being towards wilder and his people

THATS ALL I SAID...i made no comparisons between skill level and career arch/plan

And he was outboxed all night by Fury; he was lucky to get a draw. To suggest that the $120 million DAZN offer isn't the best offer we've heard Wilder ever had to date is just untrue.
he had a hard time with fury....overall...ortiz not really...and "nearly" being out on his feet is ridiculous....he took a barrage of punches and never came actually close to going down....but you will see it any way you want....wilder never left his feet

he struggled overall with fury...and still dropped him twice....so in those two fights he dropped his opponents 5x while never going down......id say he did ok for a guy that only has "one weapon"...as you and others have said "one weapon"....hes landed that weapon several times in his two biggest fights.....and came away without an L...not bad for such a limited and one dimensional guy...that one dimension always seems to find its way in

          • hearn is right, wilder doesn't bring in giant moneyw ithout joshua. it's an odd situation, but one where joshua clearly commands more of the purse. they need to come here and make the fight in las vegas and on US PPV to maximize revenue. but it's only a giant fight because of joshua, even if it's here. joshua is the reason tyson fury was as big of name as he was. he and hearn are the primary reason boxing is so popular in the UK at the moment. he and hearn are also the primary reason that HW boxing is the biggest money division in the sport. it was not when tyson fury and deontay wilder were around. they predate joshua.

so again, wilder's team has ground to stand on when they say that the fight should be here, on american PPV and in las vegas. however they need to be realistic about splitting revenue. 55-45 or even 60 40 would be more than reasonable. deontay wilder will bomb on ppv against anybody not named tyson fury or anthony joshua.

            • Showtime knows Wilder isn’t a draw, hence his next fight being on regular Showtime.

                  I noticed those comparisons immediately

as soon as Hearn got caught pulling his Arum 2.0

                    yea, good post

but that is the exact same position that Golovkin was in with Canelo

not a draw, but worth 40-45% to Canelo

even Pac to a certain extent with Mayweather..... not pulling Mayweather numbers, or even close..... but worth 40% to Mayweather regardless

it has always been that way, the kiddie keyboard accountants are fkn ******ed

                      i dont disagree

55-45...60-40 is realistic....but lets see hearn come with that...in vegas...with american ppv.....come with it hearn!!!

wilder is saying 50/50....but i feel like if AJs guys came with US...ppv....and either of those two other splits wilder would do it in a heartbeat.....but theyve yet to....and its logical that they would if they wanted to get the fight done.....i think wilder is just saying that 50/50 stuff but hes willing to come down a little if they are ready to be serious
