Options? His options are a rematch with Ortiz or hoping that Top Rank will allow Wilder v Fury to happen. Any other PBC matchup is no different to this current one - trash. That's acceptable once or twice but if 2 years down the line Wilder hasn't got Fury back in to the ring and he's only been fighting the likes of Breazeale, Kownacki, Martin then his value isn't going to be as high as it is now.

Just been reading more about what Finkel said, and I suspect the plan is for Wilder to beat Brezeale, then play into the DAZN vs ESPN/ESPN+ competition and have them bidding against each other.

While both networks are throwing crazy money around to try establish themselves, their need for a big HW fight might see them paying over the odds to line their guy up for a fight with Wilder. DAZN might break the bank to get Wilder/Joshua, especially if there is competition from ESPN in the form of Wilder/Fury.

So Wilder might come out looking pretty good if the showdown between DAZN and ESPN happens and the numbers suddenly start getting bigger and with fewer restrictions on future fights.

A gamble - but might not be a bad one (we'll see).

Lol, Pacquiao, could out box him all night. Although they'd need to have a body bag ready for Pac if Wilder ever connects. I guess he'd get the body on his record that he was taking about previously.

This makes sense assuming Wilder doesn't worry about Joshua's end of the deal. Wilder seems like the type of guy to turn down 500 million because Joshua would be getting 1 billion.

Mike Tyson had known mental issues. Not sure why people keep bringing up Tyson like it helps their case in defense of Wilders "i want a body on my record and to cripple a man in front of his children" comments. Unless people are saying Wilder has mental problems as well.

                    • Hearn and AJ needs to move on from Wilder if they're smart! AJ needs to forget about unifying all the titles because it's looks desperate for a guy who has 4 titles, the bigger draw, makes way more money to be chasing a guy with lesser! The more Hearn and AJ continue mentioning Wilder's name, he'll continue holding out!
