If Wilder signed with DAZN the rest of the deal was contingent on him beating Breazeale anyway. If he wins on May 18th the big fights will follow. Does he deserve a 50/50 split with Joshua? I prefer that he rematches Fury first with the winner fighting A.J. Of Course Hearn offered a DAZN deal. He has no confidence that Joshua would beat Wilder. If he did there would have been a one fight offer with no strings attached. How about 40 mil each with the fight on DAZN? Something tells me Wilder would gladly accept!

I didn't know about that clause with DAZN, but I guess it makes sense as they'd want to fight Brezeale in a unification bout rather than Wilder with nothing to offer. To be honest, barring some disaster I don't think anyone is realistically thinking Wilder will lose, I'd say the money is in the bag.

I mean rather than making demands like 50/50, he could try to be clever in his negotiations and make an offer of 40-60 no strings attached or 50/50 if the want strings attached, that will make him seem more flexible to the public, but will give Hearn a difficult choice. He needs to learn to play the game to get what he wants.

can someone explain to me why wilder is on his high horse making demands? he has one belt which he beat stiverne for!! stiverne is not even that good. joshua beat the man in klitschko, has three of the belts, plus wilder clearly lost to fury, got outboxed by a dude whod been out doing ******* and ****ing hookers for years. i just dont get it, how greedy can he be. he should swallow his pride and fight joshua already or give us the rematch with fury. lol i know im selfish but i jsut want the best fights. anyway all the top guys only fight twice a year and im sick of watching one sided fights where we know the outcome before the fight even starts. for this reason alone i gotta give canelo props for fighting the toughest opponents available.

I think his demand of 50/50 is a starting point. I'm sure that if offered the right price that he would take it. He is a champ and wants to be respected. I give Wilder props for sticking to his guns. Some say that he was foolish for turning down the DAZN deals. I believe that he will crush Breazeale and then negotiate some huge fights as a free agent. Hope it works out for him. I do believe that he is the best current heavyweight.

Ortiz was next in line to fight him and moved to a different network to fight wilder instead.

AJ has consistently said he would like to fight Ortiz, obviously mandatories May get in the way this year but I can see them fighting sooner if Wilder doesn’t fight him. There is talk of Ortiz joining matchroom again already - which would only be with one thing in mind if it does happen
