I think his demand of 50/50 is a starting point. I'm sure that if offered the right price that he would take it. He is a champ and wants to be respected. I give Wilder props for sticking to his guns. Some say that he was foolish for turning down the DAZN deals. I believe that he will crush Breazeale and then negotiate some huge fights as a free agent. Hope it works out for him. I do believe that he is the best current heavyweight.

I'm not convinced he's the best, he has a weakness against boxers, I'd be sure Fury beats him again. I'm not convinced Joshua will beat him it's gonna be tough as he's not much of a boxer himself but he did have to the power to knock Wilder out if he catches him. Will be great fight to watch on the edge of your seat.

Let's hope the best fight the best. Would like to see Whyte/Ortiz with the winner getting a mandatory ranking. Wilder/Fury with the winner getting the winner of Joshua/Miller. The politics of boxing is detrimental to the sport.

Delusional, embarrassing basically pricing himself out. Let's see Joshua has more belts, is more popular, jas more fans and bring more money to the table. Joshua making 30M fighting Miller. Wilder career high was about 7M and he needed Fury just to get that, before that his career high payday was just 1.9M Without either Fury or Joshua he ain't even seeing 10M paydays. Those guys with guaranteed contracts making huge money without him. He was offered 20M for the opponent he has to fight anyway and then guaranteed Joshua next for 40M and guaranteed a rematch clause to get another Joshua fight if he loses for another 40M payday. Now he is making less then 20M and talking 50/50 nonsense.

Asking for 50/50 when you don't bring half the money to the table and Joshua has all the belts he's the A side and I'm looking at Ring and ESPN rankings and Wilder is behind Joshua in all of them. Joshua/Miller is already tracking to produce a bigger live gate and higher attendance then Wilder/Breazele and Wilder is the one from the US not Joshua. And I'm not even bringing up the fact that most fans feel Fury beat him. It's one thing to say well you are the more popular but I got all the belts and I'm higher ranked. It's another to say screw belts I draw more fans and already make more money then you I am the A side regardless of belts. But it's just cringe worthy to hear him talk like this when every tangible thing says Joshua bring more to the table. GGG had 3 belts, number 1 ranked in division, P4P and still the best GGG could get for the first fight with Canelo was 30% lol

It’s not just about 50/50, he isn’t taking any fight outside of showtime. They protect him in showtime, that’s his network backing. If he fights Fury for more money on ESPN he would be vulnerable, if he fights Joshua outside of showtime he would be vulnerable. It’s about holding that belt hostage.

Per Wilder's comments, this is what happens when you humiliate someone trying to simply and honestly make a fight. Wilder & Co. were totally disrespected and clowned during the INITIAL negotiations ... and TOLD what they were worth. Well, they have a different opinion, and are playing hardball now. I hope hearn is happy. I know fans aren't.

I believe the fight will be made once everyone steps back and remembers what it's worth to them and the sport. Or when someone loses and some of the "0" luster is off the fight.

If I were a champ I'd want 50/50 too. Whether that ends up being the end game .... we'll see.
