Takam's a ballsy 1st opponent at HW, but he's not going to be a genuine test of how Usyk deals with a big HW. They could have even gone down the same route as Fury and sacrificed ability in favour of size - maybe even dragged out Martin or Washington.

This is like Usyk sticking his toe in the shallow end of the pool. I'm not complaining, just explaining. Takam knows how to lose, he's lost by ko, tko, and decision. Usyk has his choice and an older Takam to work with. The problem is, Usyk has to look good. Takam is gatekeeper.

Unless Takam has slowed down considerably, I can't see him really dishing out punishment. At -300, I would stay far away from betting on Usyk.
