Usk's people already said earlier (per ESPN) that everything was a go on the contract EXCEPT the date, and that it had to be moved (in respect to the other promotion).

The undisputed world cruiserweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, is finally moving up to heavyweight.

"... Klimas told ESPN that Takam was an acceptable opponent to him and Usyk but that the date would "99.9 percent move" so as not to conflict with a far higher-profile fight the same night -- heavyweight world titleholder Deontay Wilder's mandatory defense against Dominic Breazeale in a Showtime-televised main event from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York."

Then hearn comes back with "we moved the date blah blah blah ...." knowing they had no intention of moving it but Usyk's people forced it. Lil kids & their games ...

      Kudos to Team Usyk!

Nothing personal, just calling BS whenit's there. He toasted his own bread with the initial Wilder negotiation shenanigans ... completely and ourageously disrespectful ... no matter who the opponenet would have been. And the shameful attempts to give EVERY POSSIBLE advantage to a boxer who may already be the best around is unseemly. What's wrong with a fair promotion and a fair fight?
