Laughing too hard to articulate actual words. I'm just freakin' speechless.

Danny is making a guarantee. $1-1.2 million to fight Granados when fighting Bud would've guaranteed $3 mil.

This fight should have been on ESPN+
I'm paying ESPN a small monthly fee for their app, but I have not
been getting very much in return. Instead of giving us their best
fights on their premium app, they give us a lot of prelims and they
invest their profits in preventing an immediate Wilder-Fury rematch
by tempting Fury away with promises of lucrative less-competitive
fights against the likes of Schwarz and Pulev, some of which which
will probably be sol as ESPN PPV. I am actually going to cancel my
ESPN+ subscription because I do not want to help contribute to the
problem.

when their whole promotional companies were not
exclusively aligned with rival networks. Specific fighters
used-to sign deals with networks that might create
problems making fights, but now the networks have
effectively by-passed the fighters by making exclusive
content deals with their promoter's instead. It's a mess,
but get used to it. The sport is being broadcast and
streamed more than ever before, but that's just because
the media loves tragedy. The sport's funeral is being
televised, and people who are killing it are fighting over
the broadcast rights.

You just blew my mind! I should probably try to expand my
interests. I actually do subscribe just for boxing. Same with
Showtime. I did watch 'Who is America', but Showtime is just
for the fights, too.
