I love when people pull made up statistics out of their ass. Let me try. 122% thought Wilder won and that Fury needs to brush his hair.
Wow, that was easier than the reality in which most of the press had it quite close and polls conducted at ringside didn't show any consensus. Polls at the time showed a plurality thought Fury won but not even a majority could agree to that. So much for 90%.
As for the poll in question, I'd put Fury #2 because while I had the fight a draw Fury won more rounds. So give him the nod but it means zilch until these guys get in the ring and decisively prove who is better and that hasn't happened yet.
Well, visually, these HW's are clumsy, slow and unimpressive. The gap between #3 and #12 is huge. Briggs can be a force in this era. Heck, what's Big George doing these days ?
If you think this is a solid HW era, then our convo is over
IF Fury had gotten the fair decision against Wilder it'd be more difficult because Fury would have the two best wins but Joshua has a lot more consistency so it's a case of quantity or quality.
Thats obvious. Fury in his worst state beat Wilder in the eyes of 90% of the fans and experts.
Fury also has a clear decision win over Wlad which is better than the whole career of Wilder.
Same with AJ, who has a knockout win over Wlad and has unified 3 belts and beat most of the top 10 in the division.

Name me one era where the gap between top three and #12 isn't huge.
