David price, biggest hypejob of all time?

Can anyone think of anyone worse? There was serious hype about him,a t one point he would have been favourite against tyson fury (seriously) and he won espn prospect of the year and was talked about as the heir to klitschkos throne. I think he might be biggest hypejob i can think of considering he was 'exposed' by a fighter in mid 40s who looked like they had turned up for a paycheque and a beating, and the nature of some of his other losses have been atrocious. To be fair although the hype looks ridiculous now, it was hard to foresee that he would have the worst chin and stamina that the division has (and will?) probably ever seen coupled with his (****ing hilarious) in ring panic attacks....

Audley Harrison. Arguably more talent, significantly less heart.

Nah, he's only a little worse than MOST expected. He's nowhere near the disappointment fighters like (off the top of my head) Odlanier Solis or Broner have been.

No, Price was not the biggest hype job, not even close.

Michael Grant is nr 1 biggest hype job, Audley Harrison would be nr 2 imo. If we are talking about heavyweights.

Before his first loss, a lot of UK posters here were were saying he beats Klitschko "right now". This was even before Wlad started to look faded.

Yep ha, i was watching the thompson fight earlier today and the commentators were saying 'wlad will certainly be watching this' think a lot of people have forgot how highly rated he was at one point. I cant think of many fighters with that kind of hype who has provided so many comedy moments and been getting stopped by the calibre of fighters he has consistently.

To be fair, he was looking pretty good before his first loss. He was matched well, but he was blowing everyone away and looking like he had a chance.

David Price will always be a danger to the majority of heavyweights. 'He knows how to box & had immense power' but his stamina and durability are his weaknesses 'This just makes him a really exciting fighter, even when he is fatigued he seems to still carry his punching power well'.
