Tyson fury is a different breed

He said all along he would beat klitschko. But that wasn't enough for some even though noone gave him a chance.

Then he gets up from a 12th round knockdown against the most devestating puncher in the heavyweight division, the longest current reigning hw champ who is prime and active. Not only gets up but has the strongest legs ever seen and wins the rest of the round. Coming off of 2 years of inactivity and a drugs and alcahol binge none the less!

Do we have any examples of any other fighters in history getting up from a heavy knockdown against a ko artist in the latter stages of a fight yet being absolutely strong on his feet and fighting back convincingly like that..very rare and if so i doubt they were coming off of inactivity like Tyson and at HW none the less. David haye couldn't even muster one last good.performance to beat the limited tony bellew even at two attempts. Wish fury took the bellew fight in a way.

Will fury ever get the credit he deserves. For those who remember wlads reign it wad asif he would never be beaten. And then prior to the wilder fight everyone said it was too soon. Tyson was trained by his uncle to become world champion against all odds beating the best heavyweight champion of the modern era. He's only been in shape for about 2 or 3 fights in his career lol maybe against chisora Rogan hammer and wlad other than that he turned up out of shape. He has upper body movement unparalleled by any other current/recent heavyweight whilst being the biggest. Fury deserves more credit.

I've watched him for years and liked him a lot better before the layoff. I think he lost his edge. But, credit to the man for making the comeback.
He might not be my favorite boxer, but he's definitely my favorite boxer that's been busted for PEDs.

All you will get is haters. Tyson Fury is the new Floyd. The irony is, to get so many haters, one needs to be so far ahead of the competition that it becomes boring. Tyson Fury, a future all-time great!

He cheated against Klitschko then faked injuries to duck the rematch.

He's a fat yank with an English accent.

He fought Wilder too soon into his comeback.

I think so. He was all nerves in the first few rounds. And, his movement wasn't as organic as usual. If he stays focused in his training I think he may be able to get 'it' back.

His footspeed, movement and timing were all off against Wilder, his body looked "meh" compared to vs klitschko and he was probably missing a bit of strength and stamina, though he still had enough to beat Wilder.

Fury needs dedication and consistency. With his talent imagine if he had AJ'S dedication

There's little question in my mind that he's the most skilled heavyweight around, it's just that he's such an erratic person he keeps undermining himself.
