Basically this. All boxing is good boxing.
What many many haven’t figured out is this:
Haymon phase 1: tried to get commercial prime time success. He did good numbers, but all the PBC power couldn’t dent casuals to hop onto boxing. Basically to the outside world it’s still extinct in the sense it’s not like SRL on mainstream TV.
So the second phase in boxing, before Haymon of course, was the introduction of PPV on networks.. ok we get that.
Now here comes a new style, third phase with the advent of streaming technology, to get marquee names whom driven the sport, and give watchers the best **** for their buck. Of course DAZN will grow with more names. Hell i bet Lamont Peterson might go to DAZN. In fact I think many PBC fighters will go there. I’m wondering if Haymon has backup plans to also premiere his brand there, that’s of course if Eddie and Oscar don’t intervene..
