This had nothing to do with Fury feeling robbed. If Top Rank/ESPN hadn't offered a deal the rematch happens. So can the "he just didn't want to get robbed again on PBC terms" talk. He saw an easier path to making good money and took it. If he didn't want to get robbed again he would have taken a Pacman-like approach and said don't talk to me unless I get a say in the judges. Instead the deal was all but done for the rematch because if the ESPN deal fell through they were all in.Comment

Manny was the champ and got robbed then refused to negotiate for a fight under the conditions he felt he got robbed under. Plus I think Bob wanted him to sign a long term deal to get the rematch.Comment

Wilder didn't perform well against Fury, but to say he was "schooled" is laughable. In a decision I would have given Fury a slight edge for the win, but come on.
Fury landed an average of about one punch more per round than Wilder, and was saved from the KO by the ref, while 99% of the refs would have waved it off instead of kneeling next to him and yelling in his ear. I'm surprised he didn't get the smelling salts out too.
A rematch is justified, except Fury knows he luckily escaped a KO. Why isn't he just honest and say he wants a tune-up?Comment

Fury beats Wilder.
Wilder offers rematch at 50/50 split. Fury rejects
Fury ducking.
Joshua/DAZN offers $100-$120 million for 2-3 fight including the man at HW, Anthony Joshua.
Wilder does not sign and is fighting another tomato can in his next bout.
Wilder not ducking.
?????????????

Why can’t you Wilder fans just be honest too. I was loving this interview until that Winkel just appeared out of nowhere like a rat. Prior to that Wilder was so assured.Spoke with ferocity and a man on a mission until he is asked the question “ what next” and then his English isn’t so goodWilder didn't perform well against Fury, but to say he was "schooled" is laughable.
