I don't agree with calling this kid a superstar as of yet. How many PPVs did he sell? what the best viewership he's ever got? a couple of Instagram followers doesn't mean that much in terms of being a boxing superstar.

He needs to focus his everything on improving and working on the basics even more, he makes fatal mistakes in each and every fight but the caliber of opponents couldn'treally exploit that. I also have the feeling for some reason that he lacks that grit that fighters from poor backgrounds have and that might cost him especially considering his average basics and skills. Sooner or later he's gonna find himself in a dog fight and it will come down to that.

I wish him all the best though, I just want the media to give him time to grow and him to take that time and use it wisely.

Garcia's online "celebrity" just gives golden boy more reason to protect him as much as possible. As an influencer he's worth his pay just through the number of viewers he can push golden boy's, DAZN's way. Not to mention whatever brand of sports gear he wears. This has been proven with AJ and Under Armour. Expect Garcia to be pushed towards one of the lesser titles or interim titles. This will keep all the casuals and GB happy. Kid is going to be minted either way, and fair play to him considering boxing has a rep for not always sharing the wealth.

So much hate for this kid. His balls probably hadnt dropped yet so give him so time ffs. Did anybody think Chavez Jr would go on to be a title holder one day? Last time I made a thread about Chavez Jr, most of you guys said that Ryan Garcia is a whole lot better at same age.

Im not going to predict anything until he fights live bodies.
