Weird? Wilder would rather make $2 mil fighting in 'merika
than travel to the UK and make 10x more.
What can these UK promoters do than go to his own backyard?
      He's holding the belt hostage.

Some of it is that it's mostly European, but much of it is that the talents involved really aren't that great or that interesting. Americans liked Lewis because he was a legit great fighter.

Real question is why is Showtime wasting so much money on a division that he knows is going nowhere?
Take the European component out and it's relegated to undercard fights.

No one cares about the heavyweight division in America because boxing is seen as a novelty sport these days. Ever since high speed internet became readily available and affordable, cable and satellite tv were no longer king and no longer had a grip on what the masses were forced to watch. Back in the day, if you wanted some entertainment, you'd have to buy a boxing ppv. Nowadays, no one cares because the internet provides literally thounsands of different entertainment for FREE. And peoples attention spans are much smaller do to high speed internet, so not many are willing to sit through a boxing match.

              Lmfao.

I dig Allen ultimately, I like the fringe prospect who dreams of being bigger than he is story + he just seems like a fun dude, but he has to have comprising pics or vids of Hearn for the level of promotion he's gotten from Matchroom.
