Exactly!! Porter said if Pacquiao is dragging his feet on the Spence fight he'll definitely step up. If he backs out again I'll lose even more respect for Porter lol

Manny earned the right to pick and choose.

With that said he should stop clout chasing and just be honest with the public that he isn't looking to fight elite fighters.

Manny Pacquiao officially announced Monday that he has signed with influential adviser Al Haymon. The 39-year-old Pacquiao was promoted for most of his career b

“I’m very excited about this new chapter in my career and I’m looking forward to a fresh start,” Pacquiao said in a statement released Monday. “I’m reinvigorated by the prospects of bringing up new fighters under the MP Promotions banner. My team will work closely with Al Haymon for the remainder of my career to deliver the most anticipated fights with the top PBC fighters. Those are the fights the fans want to see and the ones I want to have to close out my career.”

It doesn’t look good, the perception is fear just as it was with Crawford. But personally I understand, fights with Thurman and Garcia are appealing and I’d rather see Spence vs the other young welterweights namely Crawford and wouldn’t mind seeing him challenge a jr middle champ as well

          Manny's list > Floyd's list

          Floyd's list: 1. Berto 2. Mayfield

Manny can't be clout-chasing if he's bigger than all of these fighters you implicate.

            Stop being a pu55y.

I'm sure Pac was up for it, then someone close told him it wasn't a good idea.

He hasn't earned that right, his past will be forever be questioned. The original test dodge.

You are right about 48 clout chasing. I've always maintained he wouldnt fight Spence. He will go with the same formula that always worked for him. Searching for an opponent who has lost recently or is noteworthy but losing a step. That would could be any of these 3. Porter. No KO power and didnt look too good his last fight. After a long layoff, Thurman himself admitted he isnt all the way healed and almost got KO'd. Danny Garcia has a fight and I think hes coming off 2 losses in a row?

Hope it backfires, would love yet another highlight real KO of #48 to add to the collection.

He is. He wants "his people" to think he's still somehow bulletproof and the same guy from 10 years ago when he's just looking for low maintenance low risk high reward fights. Floyd was upfront and said I'm not looking for prime boxers. Pacquiao won't say it. I don't know if that's clout chasing, but that's something... dishonesty at the very worst.
