Wilder hater logic: From the moment AJ was gifted his first belt against Charles Martin, all his title defenses were on SHO....until it was time to fight Wilder. Then he goes and signs a lucrative contract with DAZN. More power to him, I would have probably done the same thing. But it created a political hurdle for making a fight with Wilder. Creating a bigger hurdle is Team AJ wanting Wilder to sign a multi-fight deal with DAZN, knowing he has a working relationship with Haymon. Yet in ******ville, that equals a Wilder duck.

Wilder also fought Fury to a “controversial” draw. Everybody wanted to see a rematch. Negotiations seemed to be going well. Well enough to where it was tentatively announced that it would be on May 18 at the Barclays in NYC. But in the eleventh hour, Fury pulls an audible and signs a lucrative deal with Arum. More power to him, I probably would have done the same thing. But Arum and Haymon have ZERO working relationship. So Fury has to know that signing with Arum probably killed any chance of a Wilder rematch. As with AJ and DAZN, Arum wanted Wilder to sign a multi-fight deal in order to get a rematch with Fury. But somehow again, in ******ville, that equals a Wilder duck. You people are really ******.

this has already been proved to be fake and after Hearn completely closing down Espinosa and calling him out on this fake offer....it didn’t exist pancake man and your just another dummy that supports wilder running away from his career highest purse...Joshua will earn 25 plus million against miller and dosser will again make 2.4 million against Joshua left overs lol
Pancake man the 50 million never existed and no contract was ever sent...so settle down go order another bucket of fried chicken and munch on that pancake man...treat yourself it’s sunday

Gotta let it marinate, son. Just like Juanma vs Gamboa.

It makes sense to me, an immediate rematch worked in this situation but an interim fight made sense to let that desire really build. Two is kind of pushing it but when Dillian Whyte was signed, doing a Fury fight in the US to keep his name hot here and then going back to the UK to fight Whyte for what I presume is high reward.

The bigger risk is Wilder messing up but as long as he doesn't fight Joshua with Breazeale and maybe Kownacki. Even then the rematch could easily be sold and it would be mostly Wilder sides taking the hit and the extreme high end money but it would be fine because Bob knows it would have to be a Top rank show then.

Not too savvy of Bob to admit this.

Wilder made the correct decision by not locking himself into with ESPN or DAZN. Why does Wilder HAVE TO sign a 3 fight deal in order to get the AJ fight when AJ isn't even signed to DAZN? AJs camp does everything on a fight by fight basis. The Wilder/AJ fight can be made WITHOUT 3 or 4 fight deals. True..true...true...It would have been the most money Wilder would have made in his whole career but he would have locked himself into a certain amount. Wilder/AJ will blow the doors and roof off boxing and make tons of money. Finkel asked "how much would AJ be paid" and he wasn't told. That says AJ is going to make 2 or 3 times as Wilder especially if the fight took place in the UK. There is no DAZN in the UK so Sky would handle the affair. Sky and Showtime can do a split site amd eveyone can make money.

Second, it was said that the AJ fight was "guaranteed". In boxing there are NO GUARANTEES. None. Things change from one second to the next. But had Wilder locked himself inti that deal, Hearn can tell Wilder, "AJ doesn't want to fight you blah blah" and there would be nothing Wilder could do about it. For example. Bob Arum "guaranteed" Bradley 10 million bucks if he beat Manny in the 1st fight, but the fight had to take place in the same calender year. The first fight was in April and the 2nd fight was "supposed to be" in November. Came time for Bradley to collect on that "guarantee" and Arum said "the demand isn't there". Yes it was because pf the way the 1st fight ended. Arum just didn't want to pay up.

Wilder is banking on himself that the fight will be bigger amd he will win. The past 2 articles ive seen on this site, Arum has changed his tune about the so called "cancer of the sport" (Haymon). He has been complimenting Finkel and Haymon for advising Wilder not sign with DAZN. He knows Fury needs the Wilder fight to help Fury's name in the U.S. so he has an agenda. And for Wilder to turn down 100 million tells me he is not hurting for cash or desperate to sign his life away to get it. If he gets it, it will be on his terms and get his fair share in the AJ fight.

Fury/Shwartz then Fury/Rivas for WBO mando. Then Arum will have AJ boxed in and Wilder wanting the rematch. Hate Arum for delaying the fights we want, but the old man knows the game

There's no PPV on DAZN. 40% only makes sense if it would be on Showtime.
Dana White made those same excuses for McGregor regarding Mayweather, and we see what happened. Same with the Pacquiao fight, which apparently was impossible due to both guys being on rival networks. Contracts can be amended, and for the money offered, that one should have been.

If a requirement for a fight is to fight 3 other fights first (even though I admit that the deal was legit), then we know who doesn't want to fight. BTW it's nice to see you admit that the $50M offer was real lol
