1) He didn't have a fight signed

Just after getting Fury the WBO title so it can be a unification.
But if/when Fury gets past Shwartz , I’m assuming he’ll be the WBO Mando soon after
Just wondering what’s your opinion on how Fury /WBO AJ situation will play out
Do TR/Fury believe that a AJ fight is a real possibility of happening if Fury’s the Mando or just banking on AJ vacating the strap because of The different Platforms between AJ/Fury make it almost impossible to make the fight giving AJ almost no other choice if TR won the bid

So whether Joshua eventually vacates the IBF, WBO, or both, Arum wants to make sure he's in line to pick up the pieces. That's two purse bids he can try to win to force Joshua on to ESPN, which he knows likely means Joshua would just vacate.
But also, if Joshua and Wilder do fight for the undisputed title, there's going to be an automatic rematch and whoever won the first fight will be stripped of at least one belt heading into the rematch. Which belt? Too soon to say, but it'd likely be the IBF or WBO, and Arum will be in position to capitalize.

Tyson Fury's style will force him to step his Opposition up on ESPN 'So eventually he will have to rematch Deontay Wilder again'.
