How is it Usyk next? He hasnt fought at HW yet and probably would get Pedvedkin next. Meanwhile, Arum is angling to get the WBO mandatory to Fury which is why he is fighting Shwartz. Likely Fury/Rivas (#5 WBO and with TR) next for the mandatory position.

I said after Miller for AJ. It will be 3rd fight for Usyk. Fury is not WBO 1, that is Whyte and Usyk as WBO Super at Cruiser may get to jump the queue. And even if you were right about Fury as WBO mandatory, which you are not, Fury isn't taking the WBO 20% mandatory split to fight AJ when he has already turned down 40%.

Usyk is fighting Takam. Pulev has asked for Rivas to settle an old score from the amateur days but that could be on hold after that cut. He could wait for AJ now. To get the WBO Mandatory he will have to beat Whyte unless the WBO bypasses Whyte like the WBC. Usyk at anytime can invoke the WBO mandatory being the WBO CW champion. The WBO allows a champion of a weight class below to move up one class & get an immediate match with the higher weight champion.

I was never a big Pulev fan but he showed some serious grit to come back so strong after suffering that terrible cut. He dominated the 5th,6th & final round so the cut wasn't even a factor. The biggest improvement I saw in Pulev was his English! They kept saying how funny the guy is. He doesn't take himself too seriously. He is starting to grow on me...

Thanks! Didn't know that. Does he have a certain time in which he has to invoke that clause? Or could he fight at HW a few times and then call in his chips?

i think he can invoke it anytime but not sure how it works if he were to lose nor am i sure of the time limit...i would assume the WBOwill want him to defend the CW belt or be stripped so i would think he is thinking about it soon.

                      - -Dinu had him but ran outta gas.

Doubt Pulev could beat Tyson or AJ, and at his age is vulnerable to most top heavies. He generally sticks to the lightest comp possible.
