Good job on ESPN signing fury....no matter what his detractors say, he’s going to do some strong ratings for them. I’m looking forward to seeing him on ESPN and the ESPN+ app. Not seen “Black” so will have to get some footage of him and see what kind of fight it will be. Hopefully he takes the fight to fury....the harder you challenge fury the better he fights

Maybe Deontay isn't interested in talking to a lying douchebag who claimed he was going to "make them make the fight" days before pussing out to suck on Bob Arum's wrinkly ****.

He definitely needs someone to bring the fight.

Fury fights might be the most booed in the division. Those that only saw him against Wilder don't realise that.

Still think this could really backfire.

Fury fights are only entertaining when they're close. And if Schwarz runs him close then Fury loses credibility.

So it's either boring or unimpressive. Lose/lose.

              so true

Fury is the biggest hypocrite .... he is pretty funny at times but he chats some s**t . Calls everyone a dosser but spent the last three years in his caravan getting cained and fat ha

He’s just made major bank from that deal hopefully he doesn’t go back in the marching powder

Well you never know, Schwartz looks a lot like Fury did at 24, except he's not punching himself and getting decked by the likes of Cunningham like Fury.

Not saying he has a chance vs the (now) more experienced Fury, but might be one for the future if he learns lessons from this fight. His record isn't that padded (for his age) in that he's faced a lot of unbeaten guys who do the padding thing (lots of opponents with more losses than wins), so seems one step up from that.

Still, Wilder to an relatively untested prospect does indeed seem a jump. Hughie Fury vs Schwarz would feel more appropriate.

I’ve watched a few short clips of schwarz, appears to have good basics and fights much like what I remember Henry maske and Sven ottke fighting like, obviously notnad graceful as those two but with similar styles. That German style is very “plain” but the fundamentals seem higher than most. He isn’t a puncher and his opposition has even less than the journeyman level. Good thing about u defeated fighters no matter what is they don’t want to lose that “0” so hopefully he comes to fight. Germans don’t come in outnof shape or under trained so I suspect he acquits himself better than people think.
You are right though, fury needs to be impressive. And he needs to be himself and build up the fight because no one likes it. Only thing wrong with fury’s style is he doesn’t build for the ko, he can be too comfortable coasting.
After this fight I hope he mixes it up with someone like Parker or even better, arreola...I don’t expect arreola to win but I do expect arreola to match up well with fury for fury to get the stoppage. It’s 2 fights and then a rematch with wilder on a joint ESPN/PBC promotion.

Horrible management from Tyson team. He had all the momentum/attention coming off the Wilder fight and he lost it all.
