The WBC Clean Boxing Program announces Alvarez and Jacobs negative results

The WBC Clean Boxing Program announces Saul Alvarez and Danny Jacobs have negative results
VADA has reported that the results of the anti-doping tests, prior to the fight between WBC middleweight champion, Saul Alvarez and Danny Jacobs on May 4, following the protocol of the Clean Boxing Program, were negative.

The WBC thanks them for their willingness to be part of the Clean Boxing Program, to follow its procedures and especially for being exemplary clean athletes that care for their rival’s safety and health.

The WBC represents true integrity in the sport of boxing. I am forever grateful that we have such a great organization leading the charge to promote a safe, and healthy sport. The WBC also provides all boxers with the opportunity to compete for the greatest honor of all: winning a WBC Championship belt.

So long as you pay the fees, aren't a champion for another sanctioning organization, and sometimes slip the organization a few dollars on the side, you are good.

Every night, I think about what a great privilege it was to watch Stiverne vs Wilder II. Only the greatest of organization could ever mandate an interesting bout such as that.

May I suggest a new WBC Clean Doping belt for this fight?

Wait, Sulaiman probably thought of that already.

Looks like Canelo has finally figured out how to cycle properly.

That means Clenelo Alvaroid isn't using steroids for this particular fight?

People thought there was a chance of that for the GGG fight, since Canelo looked leaner, but it didn't matter. There are constant improvements in "sports prep". Beating these tests is easy. The real question is why they even bother to test.

Testing isn't to make sure that they're clean. It's just to make sure that they're clean enough (and to earn a buck while doing it).

Without testing the PEDs would be out of control. This way the PEDs are at least used in a limited way.

How many of the top guys do you think are 100% clean?

I'd venture it would be about as many as those Natural Bodybuilder competitions.

I don't think they can detect anything. Nowadays, fighters can even play around with their own blood and urine to get past any kind of testing. No one is clean.
