I completely get it. If you don't watch anything on the network but the fights, and then you don't like the fights, makes sense.
That is where I am at with DAZN. I will find a way to get Canelo/Jacobs and some other fights but I am not going to sign up for Canelo/Fielding and AJ/Povetkin.Comment

It doesn't work like that because they are banking on a large percent of those Canelo fans sticking around. And the ones that don't they get at least 20 bucks every time he fights. If only half of the Canelo fans go year round at 100 bucks that's 50M. The key is giving fans enough content to stay year long. We will see if that works out but as a boxing fan this is a better deal 100 bucks a year opposed to 120 bucks a year. If you are just a fan of Canelo and only want to order for big fights it's a great deal too because $19.99 a hell of a lot cheaper then $74.99. It's really a win win for the consumer regardless which bucket you fall under.I think so too. Especially if the majority of the customers buy only the fights they want to see and then cancel afterwards. A million buys at $20 (for individual fights) or a million buys at $75 a pop ppv tells you all you need to know lol
So if Canelo does 1 million buys at $20 that is $20 million.
If Wilder does 325k ppv buys (again) at $75 that is $24 million and change with less buys but yet is more revenue.
DAZN will eventually go up in price unless they make up the difference in other areas.Last edited by bigdunny1; 03-21-2019, 02:09 PM.Comment

This kinda makes me think twice on whether I want to sign up now. I expected a price increase one day but not this soon. It’s been like 5 months & they’re already raising prices. I get the annual deal for $100 you save money but at the same time there’s not going to be good fights worth paying for every month.Comment
