This has NOTHING to do with Hearn. I have no idea why so many boxing fans think he is running things at DAZN. Spoiler alert, he is NOT. This is a decision of the top execs and they have been feeling this out for some time by e-mailing out surveys to current subscribers. This deal definitely sucks for those that only like to subscribe certain months, but LIS for those that will keep their yearly subscription? This deal is better.Comment

Good call Deontay!!! Good call!!! I have been saying it for months that they are heavily in the red with what they are spending and not getting back with subscribers! Now the rates have DOUBLED along with commercials. If you think this is the last price hike I have some beachfront property in Arizona to sell you......SUCKERSThe $99.99 yearly plan is fine by me. But that number will scare a lot of new subscribers. Those that prefer the month to month plan are going to be scared from the new price point.
Those that are hardcore boxing fans and don't plan on unsubscribing anytime soon? Well, this new deal is actually better. So yeah, fair to say it doesn't bother me one bit.
Basically two ppv worthy fights over the course of a year makes it worthwhile compared to showtimeComment

Why would I wait till march 2020 to keep paying $10/month (or $120/year), when I can order the whole year for $100?Comment

I always thought we had it good for 20 dollar ppvs equiv here but would gladly pay 100 pounds for the year to get all ppv fights guaranteed, still waiting lolComment

The only fights they show worth the money are the accidental under card wars. A few were worth a one time charge, but a yearly subscription for whatever they give is no incentive to do better. An old saying, if you pay the band before the show, the music won't sound right.Comment
