    you cant be serious?????

DAZN is actually a pretty good streaming service for fights.....

they have boxing, proff pool, cricket, soccer, MLB, (idk why but) darts, and a slew of mma promotions such as:
    bellator mma
combate americas (imo is up there with UFC)
    KSW mma
    Fight night global mma
    EFC
    and Road to FC

    all that for $100/year

thats a really good deal honestly

Basically two ppv worthy fights over the course of a year makes it worthwhile compared to showtime
The flawed argument here is that not that many boxing fans purchase PPVs anyways. So when you subscribe for SHO or ESPN+ or used to subscribe for HBO, not like everyone that subscribes to those networks are purchasing the PPV. Heck, the majority of boxing fans will find an illegal stream for PPVs. So when you say it is worth two PPV fights compared to SHO, it doesn't really work that way.

Those that just would subscribe for certain months like for say a Canelo fight? You may lose some potential subscribers there as they would be willing to pay 10 bucks but not 20 bucks. Not the counter argument to that is you would have had to pay $75 bucks for his fights before he got to DAZN and that would be a good argument. Though the PPV audience is likely older and aren't able to stream or just don't know how to.

I'm interested in seeing how this plays out. Again, a lot of fans will be turned off with having to pay a yearly fee of $99.99 and others will be turned off at paying $19.99 for a monthly fee. But the people running DAZN are not dummies, so they must have some good data backing up their new plan. Either that, or they know those Canelo/GGG/Joshua/etc purses aren't going to work out with the $9.99 monthly fee lol.

What kind of boxing fan gets all hyped and excited about the prospect of a cheap boxing platform failing and says dumb ish like, "good thing Wilder didn't sign the AJ offer".

Some Justin Bieber level FanGirl-ism.. smh.

Meh, 99 bucks a year is still less than I would pay for two canelo ppv’s a year anyway.

Damn near most of the sports you listed no one cares about lol. Cricket? Pool? Darts? Racing? No one cares about that. If you are a boxing fan, you are likely only subscribing for that reason only. Not like you have the option of watching NFL or NBA games on DAZN....At least not yet. Heck, you can't even watch MLB games.

I like all the people here pretending like DAZN has had good fights. Canelo vs Fielding and Chuck Lidell straight out of a wheelchair to fight another washed-up never-was in Tito Ortiz.

$20 a month, LOL. $100 a year sounds good if they start putting on more than 1 good for per year.

I watch what interest me, I subscribed and cancelled the first month of DAZN, saw a few cards, most were garbage. Just like on ESPN and PBC, some cards are garbage there but no need to shell out extra money when I get those networks already. Was gonna re subscribe to catch the Canelo/Jacobs fight and cancel again. Most of the other fights can always watch later if I'm interested or stream them. I had a feeling DAZN was going to do something, especially with having Canelo/Jacobs and AJ/Miller within a month where subscribers can just cancel after those fights. $20 is a good deal for a those fights, but like I said I pay for what I want to see, whether it be PPV or on an app.

That is the best argument for urging boxing fans to pay that $99.99 yearly fee.

But were you actually ordering both his PPVs every year? Or even one of them?
