DAZN Will Screen In Bars, Restaurants, Casinos, Etc, And Integrated Sports Will Distribute
Integrated Sports Media (ISM), one of the leading distributors of combat sports programming in North America, has announced it has a signed, exclusive agreement to distribute DAZN programming to commercial establishments in the United States.
ISM will be responsible for distributing DAZN programming in the U.S. to bars, restaurants, casinos and sports books. “We’re thrilled to distribute DAZN programming in the U.S. market and help grow its reach across the country,” ISM president Doug Jacobs said. “We have a signed deal to distribute DAZN’s world-class combat sports programming like Golden Boy Promotions, Bellator MMA and Matchroom Boxing.”
yeah the clubs are not streaming it with Roku illegally. lol The bars order the fight their their existing cable/Satelite service like they would for other big PPVs.Last edited by bigdunny1; 03-21-2019, 02:53 PM.Comment

you dont have to.....
I surely dont. I stick with the boxing and mma
thats true too!
This new generation of consumerism was established years ago. Mobile phone technology and smart TV infrastructure continues to grow. You've got kids or teens pressing BUY buttons for coins or points to go to the level.
DAZN app is the smartest thing yet. It will continue to grow massively. the smart phone era is so convenient. DAZN knows what to do.
I stream DAZN from a mobile device to my Apple TV hub. That's a different protocol than standardized Smart TV functions
Exactly. If you a boxing fan this is a better deal. If you just want to order Canelo PPVs then you being charged 20 bucks instead 70 bucks. Regardless what side you on you winning because this is way cheaper. This is all about Canelo they don't want fans ordering just his fight for 9.99 and then canceling. Giving incentive to watch all year or at minimum selling his fights at 20 bucks a pop like normal PPV but still way cheaper.
I think so too. Especially if the majority of the customers buy only the fights they want to see and then cancel afterwards. A million buys at $20 (for individual fights) or a million buys at $75 a pop ppv tells you all you need to know lol
So if Canelo does 1 million buys at $20 that is $20 million.
If Wilder does 325k ppv buys (again) at $75 that is $24 million and change with less buys but yet is more revenue.
DAZN will eventually go up in price unless they make up the difference in other areas.Comment

UFC is doing the same thing they just announced a deal with ESPN+ to be the exclusive provider for the their PPVs. Meaning it's only streaming now to fans but it will still be shown at bars that have no infrastructure for streaming. Basically cutting out the fees the cable companies charge UFC for each PPV they sell to fans. But bars, restaurants will still be ordering them from old school cable/satelite systems.Comment

OK. I don't like MMA but if like Jones/Lesnar or Conor/Kabib 2 goes down I will check those out.Comment

Does anybody know how long the $99.99 yearly deal lasts? Meaning did they say when this offer would end in your e-mails?
I just dropped DAZN and ESPN+ last month but will probably pick up DAZN again if the fights start looking real good.
I suppose it works out either way as if you see something you really like you just pay $20 for it.
I do understand and use streams like others at times but sometimes you just want a guarantee of seeing everything.Comment
