They going have to raise that monthly subscription again in order to sustain the guarantee of the stars they have signed to long term deals without staying in the red just not bringing in enough subscribers.... Whoever running they media push needs to be fired not really any commercials/radio or tv advertisements to try and get people attention

Now this man gets it. Not even a year and already a doubling of the price and with commercials as well. Within another year there will be another price hike and possibly a ppv option as well. They can’t pay Canelo 33m a fight, ggg, and Joshua 8 figures with no one watching and half empty arenas....they are going to price gouge on those who do choose to suscribe. Hell Joshua and ggg haven’t even had their American dazn fights yet. This is simply to pay for Canelo....think about that for a minute

They're not targeting casuals, they're targeting sports fans.

And casuals don't seek out free streams anyway so they would more than likely pay for a one off event they want to see.

Only if the said person chooses to look at it that way. DAZN was around before Hearn and will be around after him. He doesn't have a say on their pricing. The same way he doesn't have final say on all their boxing content.

If people are choosing when to, and when not to, point their finger at him based on if the move is positive or negative instead of who is actually making the decision, then it's on them and what narrative they are wanting to push.

Don’t deflect. The issue was dazn was as not trying to put another outfit out of business, it is....by attempting to lure its top people away. There is no possible way that can be denied. If you would like to introduce new ideas to our exchange that’s fine, but that doesn’t change the fact that Hearn and dazn have had a strategy of “let’s get all of their guys”....and of you can’t admit that’s with the aim of taking over the market then you are either biased or gravely in need of reading The Art of War

If you are a Boxing fan and were keeping it all year round then you get it cheaper than it already was. If you just jumping in for the big fights its 20 a time or 20 a month. Thats great or that is crap depending on how much money you got. $100 aint that hard to find though. Thats just 1 night out in town.
