Who cares what Joshua is getting. Wilder was going to get $100 million guaranteed...how many fights is it going to take him to make that much money on his own?

If he gets beat along the way maybe he never sees that amount at all.

Taking the deal was what was best for Wilder. Espinoza and Finkel and Haymon obviously have their own interests which conflict with his.

Ummm no. If Breazeale would have beaten Wilder, then the Joshua portion of the deal is off and both Wilder's team and Hearn confirmed the same info.

DAZN are not idiots, they wont pay Wilder 40 million for Joshua after suffering a defeat. If either lose, especially by KO, it kills the fight.

He was guaranteed a Joshua rematch, if he lost to Joshua, but not if he lost his DAZN debut. And it was a 40 million flat fee for each Joshua fight, and 20 million for Breazeale.

So if anthony gets $30 million, Shelly Finkel thinks deontay should get $28 million, that makes no sense he is not as popular as joshua so what entitles him to get more im curious?

This mentality really says a lot of about the average person..."Who Cares What The Other Person Is Making"? Really?

Look I know some of you just want this fight and others just want to bash Wilder right now and rightfully so but it is ZERO Logic in some of these replies. So you the guy that is FIGHTING and taking the punches don't want to know where all the profit from the fight is going? Just Shut Up, sign the $40 Million Flat and don't worry about International Money and Markets that don't have DAZN just "Don't Worry About It" among so many other things?

That is like signing a Record Deal and just taking a Flat Fee and not worried about your Royalties, Publishing or anything "Hey You Got Your Money Don't Worry About The Other Stuff That Allows To You To Keep Making Money When You're Retired"

It Explains A LOT...particularly about this Forum either some guys on here are really young or it is some of the dumbest grown men in the world on this damn Forum

But he's not, since his fights do not generate anywhere nearly as much.

                  Another excuse to duck.

The problem here is clearly Shelly Finkel and Alan Haymon. And while they may be able to spin this on most boxing fans who fall for the WWE okeydoke, I got news for you Shelly. Joshua ALREADY makes 10 times what wilder makes per fights so who cares if he gets double?

For whatever reason he/they turned it down, it happened. This is just another reason why the heavyweight division is a complete joke since the 90s.

Like the other PBC fighters, Wilder is not a free agent like he wants to believe. Others are making decisions for him and they are not necessarily in his overall best interest.
