‘The difference between the relationships is that AJ is my boss, whereas it’s the other way around [on the other side]. Al Haymon is Deontay’s boss."
This my friends is what was once referred to as an "ether," now more commonly referred to as a "drop the mic" moment. There are sometimes differences though. This was both.

      Eddie...it is not about you!

Again EGOS that are involved in this fight which are not from the fighters themselves...Is The Problem Here!

Yes if AJ lose Matchroom takes a serious HIT of course but Brits are far more loyal than we are so he can just head back to the UK and build himself right back up and they will support him.

The positive in all this is that Eddie is saying John Skipper is saying DAZN will keep trying and Shelly Finkle said he will continue to talk with DAZN as well as talking with ESPN so nobody is closing the door on the fight completely it is just not happening next and it is doubtful it happens this year

Both Sides clearly understand that it is a ton of money to be made in this fight and ultimately it will be Eddie and AJ having to give up 50/50 down the middle just to go ahead and get this fight done

Oh, did he insult the snowflake? Are you saying that's the reason Wilder doesn't want to fight AJ? Is that what you're saying? If anything, exactly this should be the reason for Wilder to KTFO AJ.

AJ is fighting Miller next, he isn't free to fight Wilder or anyone else. Fury also chose to ditch the rematch and go with Arum who wants tune ups for Fury. So Wilder turned down DAZNs offer, big deal. Wilder wasnt going to be fighting AJ. Wilder could fight his mandatory while AJ takes on Miller and then when they are free they can discuss a fight between them. Showtime isn't asking any of these guys to sign multi fight deals and take on tune ups in order to fight Wilder. ESPN and DAZN want Wilder to boost their lagging subscriptions and want him tied down to their streaming services. DAZN can come back after June and offer a one fight deal with a rematch clause if needed for Wilder to fight AJ.

You’d never hear or see Haymon acting like this.
We never see him, period !! but you are right. However, that Winkle is a piece of work though. Al Haymon represents many fighters but that E.T. Head just has Wilder and he is trying to rule him with an iron fist

People seem to forget that AJ isn't fighting Wilder next, he already was scheduled to fight Miller. ESPN and DAZN just want Wilder to fight on their platform first to boost subscriptions. If both DAZN and ESPN are serious about making a fight with Wilder, make an offer when their fighters are free to fight and not tied up. Make the fight happen where their will be more revenue generated, simple as that. Hearn just crying because Wilder didn't sign to DAZN so he can brag about it as if it was his signing. Same thing he did with Canelo

Lmao. Crazy Eddie is definitely losing sleep over this. He is constantly talking about it and always pointing the finger at someone else. The fact he blew up the way he did he won't sleep for a month or 2. Lol.
Crazy Eddie just "have a coke and a smile and stfu".

He thought he could come over to the USA and just put PBC out of business...he really thought all the PBC fighters would just jump ship to his barely watched streaming app. Golden Boy has given dazn more than Hearn has, that is why Hearn had to cancel to Wembley date for Joshua and put him in NYC.....remember Joshua never wanted to fight outside of the uk. Hearn HATES haymon....you can clearly see he NEVER talks about Arum, always Haymon. Hearn knows that as long as PBC is on FOX and Showtime and selling successful PPvs, dazn can’t flourish and reach the casual money....he’ll they don’t even have the majority of boxing fans yet.
Hearn is a classic case of what “privilege”, a strong sense of ENTITLEMENT, looks like. He truly believes he is ENTITLED to command the American boxing scene and that PBC has something against him by being successful
I think he just wants Wilder to fight AJ. Nothing more nothing less. Stop getting carried away and second guessing someone you have never met

But from what it sounds like then DAZN makes the pot smaller for all parties involved so why sign in that case?
They offered to pay Wilder & AJ more than the fights are worth not less. I'm stunned that so many don't seem to have understood this or are claiming that Wilder is some kind of genius for knocking this offer back.

They offered him far, far more than he's worth in terms of the numbers he draws. They do this because they're currently in an acquisition phase where they will pay a premium to break into a mature market. Anyone who thinks this phase will last forever is an idiot.

The smart move for Wilder was to take the 120m and if he beats AJ he's the biggest earner in world boxing until the end of his career. 3 or 4 fights and then he can fight on showtime, fox, wherever he chooses. Someone advising him told him different, so hopefully they've also outlined a path where he makes 200m and becomes undisputed champion.
