Don’t embarrass yourself now. Stop bringing up doing ratings on HBO and ESPN to SHO. Comparable will be PPV buys where audience is equal on who can watch it.i never even mentioned Crawford or their potential fight lol. How or why would it bother me.
As for Lomachenko vs Garcia. Your argue probably would have been correct before he got blown out of the water vs Spence and wasn’t remotely competitive. You can’t say his star power is the same as it was before that loss now. I think he needs a good rebound win.
You can’t say Spence gets better ratings than Mikey either. Spence averaged 683,000 vs Ocampo. Mikey 680,000 vs Easter.
Spence averaged 637,000 can peterson. Mikey averaged 618,000 vs Lipinets. Not much difference at all.
Lomchenko has consistently drawn better ratings than Mikey while Crawforods ratings blow Spence’s out of the water every time except his one fight after Olympic basketball. Those are just the facts.
Huh? Didn't bring up Crawford? You are responding to a post of mine talking about Spence being the A side over Crawford.
You said Spence doesn’t do good ratings, and I told you only Wilder and Broner are the only ones doing better ratings than him. Spence's ratings out performed Mikey in those two fights right? So yes, Spence does better ratings. But they are equal level stars…. Which I said before the fight and even now. Obviously Spence with that win will be a bigger star now.Comment

Bread, you base a lot of your "mailbag" responses off opinion and insider sources...and rarely use credible/objective evidence. On one occasion you've even resorted to using conspiracist logic...so how is that "boxing business"?
And if you're confused I'm referring to your adamant stance on Canelo's PED use.
You're certain of his guilt and have even said he's cheated - which is libel so I'd be careful about that personally, but as it stands Canelo did not cheat. Canelo was found with illegal levels of clenbuterol in his urine on 2 occasions. And it cannot be labeled cheating (subject to libel) as there was not enough evidence to prove intentional/purposeful use. Whether or not you like to admit it...the circumstantial evidence actually supports Canelo's innocence - and a lot of fans don't like to admit that.
Mexico has a legitimate problem with, specifically, Clenbuterol in their meats/agriculture. Other fighters and athletes from all walks of sport (including a teenage soccer team) have incidentally ingested Clenbuterol simply by residing in Mexico.
Canelo's urine test results were deemed "consistent with meat contamination" by the WADA director of the lab that collected the samples.
Canelo was still residing in Mexico when the samples were collected which was a rematch stipulation by Abel/Loeffler/GGG (testing further out from fight).
Canelo submitted to hair follice test at request of NSAC. Hair follice tests do not discredit the urine results, but Canelo's willingness to take the test again demonstrate a point of strength and not weakness. And Canelo tested (-) for Clenbuterol in that sample.
You once referenced a BLH article which discredited Hair Follice testing by citing 2 scientific articles that explained how hair colour can alter hair follice results. The problem with that BLH post is that 1 of the 2 scientific articles they referenced was from the 1990's. It is very bad practice to reference sources in the scientific community from the 1990's and there's a plain reasoning why. Do you remember what cell phones in the 1990's looked like? What computers looked like? There's a reason scientific studies/results from the 1990's are not relevant when examining today's technology.
Canelo never tested positive before or after (against Floyd, Trout, GGG1, GGG2) and enrolled in WBC365.
Canelo's performance in GGG1 and GGG2 was unchanged and possibly even improved. So where was the PED fallout?
I just don't get how you can rant about "boxing business" in regard's to someone's PPV totals in one breath, but in another breath use "non-boxing business" logic to form opinions that borderline on prejudice against Canelo or GBP.
You're better than that Breadman and it's a shame that you stoop rather than rise because you acknowledge all the time that boxing fans are the worst - and they are. Please stop being one of them (the worst) and model how a good fan ought to be.Comment
